September 11, 2011
Ten years have passed since that fateful day that changed the world so drastically. Ten years, and we still haven't forgotten. We will never forget. To the lives that were lost that day, to the brave men and women who fought then and continue to fight now for freedom and justice. We will never forget.
Today's linkup is for your posts with a theme of "September." You could use the word September in any manner for your response. Can't wait to read everyone's responses! All you have to do is:
1) Link up your September post below.
2) Read and thoughtfully respond to at least 3 other posts in the link up.
3) Share our button, tweet about our linkup, or spread the news on facebook. Anything to get our name out there and to help our community grow. Psst! Buttons are available on our right-hand sidebar. :)
4) Link up is available through Wednesday, so be sure to check back to see who else might have linked up.
Next week's prompt is: Flicker of Inspiration Prompt #16: Hungry
Food. It plays a vital role in all our lives. It not only nourishes our bodies and keeps us from...well, dying, but it also serves as a source of comfort, joy, solace, and memory. This week's prompt is all about making your reader hungry. Write a story (or nonfiction post) that centers around some kind of food or a meal. Will you write about your character's last meal? A dinner party gone horribly wrong? Will you describe that perfect dinner you prepared for your 10th anniversary? You can go anywhere with this prompt, so long as you go there with some food along the way. Let's add a word limit this week and keep things under 500 words.
