Flicker of Inspiration Linkup and Prompt #45: Short and Sweet

You're doing it right.
We're doing another flash-fiction prompt! The goal is to keep it short and sweet - and that's also your theme

Starting now, write something under 350 words to fit the theme "Short and Sweet" - do this by starting your piece with either the word "short" or the word "sweet" and ending it with the word you didn't start with. For example, "Sweet Pea was short." Alternatively, "Short bread is too sweet."

Maybe something a little longer. Under 350 words, but hopefully more than five. I'd love to see short and sweet haiku, though, so any poets are certainly welcome to join in as well.

The linkup is below! It'll be open until Wednesday as usual, so as always do read and respond to as many posts as you can, and don't forget to include a link-back button, available to the right. We're always looking for new participants, so please do suggest us to your friends and maybe your enemies as well via twitter and facebook.
