Spark Notes #2
As writers, we're bound to get overwhelmed from time to time. Sometimes even writing five hundred words (five hundred of the right words) can seem like a daunting task. This week's writing inspiration comes from one of The Lightning and the Lightning Bug's founding members: Mary Lauren of My 3 Little Birds and Mary Lauren Writes.
Mary Lauren's newest post in her Advice to Writers series has her tackling that problem of being overwhelmed. Her advice? Take each step bite by bite and bird by bird...and try to write everyday.
Bite by Bite, Bird by Bird
How do you handle it when you're overwhelmed by a writing task? Do you write everyday? One of our fellow writers Kelly of Writing in the Margins, Bursting at the Seams recently took on the pledge of writing a thousand words everyday. We're in awe! She's setting goals for herself and accomplishing them. Go Kelly! How do you make sure you accomplish your goals?
